  • Surrendering To Grace

I understand and to much agree. Yet at times there is a more simple matter of truth, there are those who suffer suicidal thoughts due to not a form of mental illness or depression but a reasoning within of ending the pain. In respect to grieving it is indeed also true that it’s very common for those in grief to experience thoughts of suicide. What I do so question is that those who commit suicide go to hell. I would think that if it is due to illness then it is rather much out of their control, as the brain is truly altered in such states and in the moment they are not acting in the norm to that they would be otherwise. Then there are those that are in the state of mind of absolute reasoning and are simply making a choice due to ending some form of pain they endure or has been presented upon them. In such situations I would have to ask of God’s mercy… isn’t it true that God’s love and mercy would even be more absolute and concrete to such souls. It is my wonder if God would not take great mercy and immediately upon these souls. For his compassion for those in distress and great pain is certainly an illumination to that the human capacity can not imprint or illuminate ourselves… as the Lord is our saviour.
