3 Steps to Unceasing Prayer

First Thessalonians 5:17 says to “pray constantly,” but how do we do that? In this video, Fr. Mike Schmitz suggests a three-step approach used by St. Francis de Sales. These steps can be difficult or easy, but the important thing to remember is that simply inviting God into every moment is as good a way to pray as any.

Fr. Mike, this was really good, but I think you missed a step…I tried this out this morning on my run and it was great. When I started to really feel the run, it helped know I was offering the exertion as a sacrifice. When I was done, however, I thought there might be a step 4…gratitude. Ending the run by giving thanks for the experience really brought it all together. Thanks for all you do. Peace.
