This week we are talking about adding movement to your days and forming the healthy habit of sitting LESS and moving more, even outside of your regular “workout” times. This doesn’t have to be complicated, and it can have amazing benefits for your health and well-being.
10 Ways You Can Move More Throughout Your Day:
- Take on a DIY project
- Use a treadmill (or standing) desk
- Play games with your kids
- Be inefficient — with your parking, cleaning up, chores, etc.
- Keep track of your movement
- Set a timer to remind you to move
- Walk after each meal
- “Walk and Talk” or make sure you are moving while on the phone
- Take on a 60 second challenge (plank, squats, whatever you want)
- Walk faster! It feels great!
